- Backend Development: Architect and implement APIs, services, and distributed systems for the platform.
- AI Integration: Collaborate with AI engineers to embed models, embeddings, and agent services directly into backend workflows.
- System Modernization: Transform outdated legacy workflows into secure, scalable, cloud-native systems.
- Security & Compliance: Build with security-first principles, ensuring enterprise-grade compliance for the utility sector.
- Agile Delivery: Ship features and improvements in rapid cycles while balancing speed with reliability.
- 5+ years of backend software engineering experience (SaaS or enterprise).
- Strong in React, Python, and either Golang or Java.
- Familiarity with AI/ML tools & APIs (comfortable calling models and integrating outputs).
- Solid understanding of databases (SQL/NoSQL), distributed systems, and message queues.
- Experience building cloud-native systems (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
- A clear communicator who thrives in small, agile teams and takes full ownership of their work.
